Speculative Building Resource Guide
Speculative buildings have been, for communities, an attempt to attract a new industry into their community. The result has been that successful programs attract new industries that create new jobs and increase the economic base of the community. In general, communities with a well-conceived and well-thought-out program increase their chances of attracting future investment. The decision to finance, construct and market a "spec" building requires careful consideration, planning and commitment.
