April 27, 2005 | AECI recognizes Stump and Earnhart with Excel awards
Contact : Nancy Southworth Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. presented its prestigious Distinguished Service Award April 14 to Dave Stump, director of the Human Resources Division for the wholesale power supplier based in Springfield. The award recognizes Stump's sustained, outstanding contributions to the cooperative during his 22 years of service. Ronda Earnhart, senior administrative assistant in AECI's Accounting and Finance Division, was named the Excel Employee of the Year in a Secretarial Field for repeatedly performing beyond her normal responsibilities and tackling significant projects successfully in 2004. AECI Excel award recipients, who are nominated by their co-workers, were honored April 14 during the 12th annual employee recognition event held at the cooperative's New Madrid Power Plant in southeast Missouri. Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. is owned by and provides wholesale power to six regional and 51 local electric cooperative systems in Missouri, northeast Oklahoma and southeast Iowa that serve more than 800,000 customers. AECI's mission is to provide an economical and reliable power supply and support services to its members with the vision of being the nation's lowest-cost wholesale power supplier.
