Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. recently highlighted employees’ achievements and contributions to the cooperative’s success during its annual employee recognition event.

Orville Wilson, senior mechanical maintenance supervisor, was recognized for his 35 years of service with the cooperative at the Thomas Hill Energy Center.

Employees at Thomas Hill who will reach 30 years with AECI this year are Kathy L. Bagby, human resources administrator, and Donald G. Frederick, maintenance planning coordinator.

Thirty-five employees will celebrate 25 years with the cooperative in 2006: Bobby G. Agler and William G. Buckallew, warehousemen; James D. Calvin, journeyman machinist/mechanic; Charles D. Cottingham, material handling supervisor; Daniel L. Creed, journeyman machinist/mechanic; Walter D. Flickinger, journeyman electrician/HVAC; Eddie C. Geyer and Mike L. Green, journeyman welder/mechanics; Laurel T. Harris, journeyman mechanic/HVAC; Monte D. Hartung, senior revegetation technician; Robert N. Helmich, journeyman mechanic; Glenn A. Howard, control room operator; William C. Johnson, yard equipment operator; David L. Kertz, journeyman electrician specialist; Stephen W. Kirby, journeyman mechanic; Brian D. Kissell, protective services officer II; Robert H. Long, journeyman mechanic; Vickie L. Means, warehouseman; Kevin L. Murphy, plant performance manager; Michael D. Raney, control room operator with training; Terry L. Richardson, predictive maintenance specialist; Rosmon R. Rucker Jr., journeyman instrumentation technician specialist; Elias H.
