Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. (AECI) recently highlighted employees’ achievements and contributions to the cooperative’s success during its annual employee recognition event, held March 29 at Thomas Hill Energy Center. Among those recognized were AECI employees at Thomas Hill celebrating service anniversaries. Dencil D. Gaines, electrical maintenance supervisor, was recognized for his 35 years of service with the cooperative at the Thomas Hill Energy Center. Employees who will reach 30 years with AECI this year are Ward C. Bailey, journeyman electrician specialist; Robert E. Hicks, operations superintendent; Daniel L. Smith, mechanical maintenance supervisor; and Gary M. Smith, shift supervisor. Thirty-one employees will celebrate 25 years with the cooperative in 2006, joining the cooperative in 1982 as AECI brought Thomas Hill Unit 3 online: Bert J. Amidei and Ronald G. Bausch, journeyman mechanics; Geannie F. Cox, warehouseman; Mark A. Cunningham, journeyman electrician specialist; Joseph R. David, assistant control room operator; Michael K. Gilkeson, journeyman welder/mechanic; C. Michael Goff, mechanical safety specialist; James T. Guffey, journeyman machinist/mechanic; Larry W. Herndon, yard equipment operator; Leo P. Johnson, journeyman mechanic/HVAC; William T. Jones and Jack A. Kilgore, mechanical maintenance supervisors; Chris D. Kribbs, yard equipment operator; Manfred L. “Butch” Langsteiner, journeyman mechanic; Mark E. Mayhew, maintenance superintendent; K. Alan McCune, chemical lab technician; David E. Miller, journeyman instrumentation technician specialist; William G. Nanneman, chemical lab technician; James E. Noel, assistant water/air operator; Carl D. Parrack, associate engineer; Roger G. Perkins, journeyman mechanic; J. William Ramsey, journeyman instrumentation technician specialist; David P. Ross, yard equipment operator; Clarence M. “Max” Siebuhr, material handling supervisor; Edgar A. Skaggs, journeyman electrician specialist; Sandra J. Skaggs, warehouseman; Jeffrey N.
