Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. (AECI) highlighted employees’ achievements and contributions to the cooperative’s success during its recent employee recognition event. Marking 30 years with the wholesale power supplier is David K. Burtrum, manager of information technologies at the cooperative’s Springfield headquarters. Celebrating their 25th year with AECI are Bradley L. Austin, manager of procurement; D. Kirk Clark and Gregory S. Downing, senior power marketers; Donald E. Letson, electronic technician; Randall W. Murdaugh, risk manager; Sharon K. Crosswhite, financial analyst; and David E. Strong, network technician. AECI is owned by and provides wholesale power to six regional and 51 local electric cooperative systems in Missouri, southeast Iowa and northeast Oklahoma that serve more than 850,000 customers.
