Haines has served as CEO and general manager of NW Electric Power Cooperative since January 2026, the same month he joined Associated’s board of directors.
He previously served for a decade as general manager of North Central Missouri Electric Cooperative, where he led operations, financial strategy and member services. During his tenure, he advanced initiatives focused on system reliability, technology modernization and long-term financial strength. He has also been actively involved in statewide cooperative leadership, serving in multiple officer roles with the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives, including secretary, vice president and president.
Haines holds a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in management from Graceland University.
