Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative appointed Duncan to Associated’s board of directors in January 2026. He serves as board president of Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative and brings extensive leadership experience in education, administration and cooperative governance.
Duncan spent more than 30 years in Missouri public education, serving as an industrial arts teacher, school counselor, assistant director and director of the Rolla Technical Institute and Rolla Technical Center. His career emphasized organizational leadership, workforce development and long-term strategic planning.
In addition to his professional background, he has significant cooperative governance experience. Duncan has served on the Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association board of directors, where he has participated on all board committees and held leadership roles, including board president.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in guidance counseling, and a specialist degree in superintendent and educational administration.
